QC Wedding Planning LLC FAQ
Wedding planning can be a bit of a tedious task. It can become overwhelming and a lot to take on when you start to break down
what is involved and all of the moving parts. Let's not even think about the guest list! (smile)
Here is a short comprehensive list of popular questions we are asked.
What Exactly Do You Do as a Wedding Planner?
All planners will coordinate the wedding day logistics: telling vendors where to go, being on the phone answering deliveries and questions, and scheduling the day. Many planners will also design the event—that is, come up with the look for the wedding, find the right partners to bring that vision to life and help you work through budgets and contracts. Some planners also happen to be florists or can make things for you, but that's not always the case.
What should my budget be?
Your budget truly is dependent on a few things. The number of guest you are feeding and how elaborate you want your day to be.
Of course, the more people you are feeding the more expensive your catering bill, which means the bigger the venue the more the cost. Not to mention if you are have a wedding on a Saturday it will probably cost more than a Friday or Sunday. Take into consideration how much you DON'T want to spend to determine what you are willing to spend. A planner will keep you within the budget and find ways to save with their relationships with vendors.
Can I hire QC Wedding Planning to just provide guidance and not to actually plan?
Yes!! Candice will for sure guide you and keep you on tract through the virtual planning process. This is not a service that is suggested, however, she understands that all brides are not made the same. If you are a DIYer this is a great option and can be secured with a retainer and a per hour rate per month. Inquire within!
How much does it cost to hire a wedding planner?
All wedding planners are not made a like. You have some planners who start at $5k. Yikes! That's a starting price point. There are different dynamics in how to determine the investment.
Candice's approach is to have a consultation to determine the scope of the time and the job involved based on your needs. She doesn't believe in the Nickle and dime approach to the cost involved. Inquire about a consultation to discuss your day and let's determine what that investment looks like!
What goes into the wedding planning services you offer?
Guest List Creation
Honeymoon planning & a host of other things based on your needs!
Does your planner and vendors need a contract?
ABSOLUTELY! Do not take on any vendor to the most important day of your life without one. Candice will read every contract and inquire about anything that could possibly turn into a complicated situation. Candice operates by contract to hold herself and the client accountable. Do not hire without a contract!
